Rob and Rob, father and son
Rob The Sweep is a father and son team, both called Rob, working from West Moors. We have been installing wood burner stoves and open fires, and sweeping and servicing them, for more than 20 years, and we look after AGA, Rayburn and Stanley ranges as well.
We are HETAS-qualified, members of the National Chimney Sweeping Safety Association and carry £5 million public liability insurance.

Absolutely brilliant! Came out straight away and extremely reasonably priced! I moved into a new house and the chimney hadn't been swept for 20 years! Rob & Rob are a real Father and Son Team. They know what each one is thinking even before speaking. They did a fantastic job of cleaning our wood burner. - They come highly recommended by me. Their knowledge and experience is second to none. - I will use them again next summer as the burner is just like new now. - Thank You. :-) They were quick, clean and tidy.
Rob and his dad Rob came and sorted out our chimney, we had loose fire bricks which he sorted out and then swept our chimney. Not an easy job and more work than expected but he dealt with it very professionally. Incredibly tidy and no mess whatsoever. Highly recommend him to not only sweep but sort out other issues.
We recently moved into a new house and Rob came to sort the chimney out for me. I was unsure on how to get the fireplace ready for use but Rob not only cleaned it out for me but left me with all the information I need to to get the fire place ready for use and up and running. I would highly recommend Rob for any of your fireplace needs. He's a wealth of knowledge from how to set your fire to best fuels to use for maximum efficiency. I was very impressed by the service I was given and wouldn't hesitate in using him again. Great to find a one man band dedicated to his trade, great work Rob 👍
Rob and his colleague were fantastic! I see them driving past most mornings and was managing a project that I could really do with their services for. I called and 3 days later they’re out completing the necessary work. Rob was extremely knowledgeable and was more than helpful when explaining the correct usage of the equipment we had installed. Great guys and would 100% recommend to anyone needing any fireplace repairs or maintenance. I’ll certainly be calling them again for any upcoming projects! Thanks guys
